This month the H.E.S.S. was visited by the Polish Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski. He was accompanied by Polish H.E.S.S. group leader Prof. Rafał Moderski (Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center, Warsaw) and Prof. Tomasz Bulik, director of the Astronomical Observatory at the University of Warsaw. Poland has been a member of the H.E.S.S. collaboration for 20 years.
